Imperial Consort from the Jingzhao Wei clan (based on Consort Wei of Tang)
Consort Wei is the most dangerous woman in the palace after the empress herself. Born into the prestigious Jingzhao Wei clan, she cultivates an image of refined elegance — the peony among flowers — while concealing a ruthlessness that makes Empress Wang look gentle. Her signature white peony motif belies the poison beneath the petals.
Consort Wei is the antagonist of the first half of the game. Her power base is the Wei clan's political influence combined with her own considerable cunning. The chapters where you dismantle her position (Chapters 9-10) are some of the most satisfying in the game, but only if you've prepared properly in earlier chapters.
